Strategy House reflects on our strides of 2019, highlighting some of our favorite parts of the year and preparing for 2020.
As 2019 (quickly!) wraps up, we want to take a moment to reflect on some of our biggest changes and accomplishments of the year. Throughout the year, we spend several days purposefully reflecting in order to prepare for the quarter ahead. We’re happy to be able to share a few of our proudest moments as we all get ready for the incredible opportunities 2020 will bring our team!
Early this year, we were faced with a few major decisions that helped us further cement our vision as an agency. We were discovering just how committed we had become to our manufacturing clients, and realized that our processes were really designed to guide manufacturers specifically through the digital transformation process. We were happy to have that big “A-HA” and move forward officially as the brand management agency designed for manufacturers.
As autumn came, we were excited to share that Strategy House was named one of the Top 10 Employer Branding Companies of 2019 by HRTech Outlook. We are incredibly proud of our employer branding strategies, and all the important changes our clients have already experienced after employing it.
Also, our fearless leader Katie Felten was tapped to speak at the Manufacturing Matters 2020 Conference. She is already preparing her presentation on how digital brand is impacting how companies attract and retain talent. She presents in February next year and we look forward to seeing all the other presentations.
We were also interviewed for a Zendesk article on Culture and Community, and how it relates to growth goals. We were happy to share a bit of our insight on the techniques we use to help our manufacturing clients understand what culture means in the digital world. We were selected among other companies because of the strong culture we’ve built for our team here at Strategy House.
Speaking of our team, we grew this year! We brought on Carmella, a short-form writer to help us create powerful social media content for our clients. Quickly her positioned evolved and now she handles a variety of writing tasks and offers creative content solutions for our manufacturing clients.
During the summer, we recognized that our team was continuing to grow, and that we wanted to have a nice space for our team to gather. Though one of the perks of being on our team was access to remote working, our crew shared the desire to see and work with one another on a semi-regular basis. We happily moved into an office at SPACES, a beautiful downtown office with plenty of space for our team to work and relax.
Quickly after we moved in, we brought Carl Cummings onto our team. We were at a point where we needed some strategic creative direction, and we knew Carl had the experience and insight we were looking for. Carl joined us in late summer, and quickly became an integral part of our team. He has already made major waves in our process and we look forward to everything he will bring to our team in 2020.
As the year comes to an end, we feel so grateful for all the growth and progress we made in 2019. It was an incredible year and we feel quite prepared for the opportunities and adventures 2020 will surely bring our way. Happy New Year!
